The months of November and December our featured wine is Two Granpa's a tribute to our fathers it is a strong sweet wine, we call it grappa style but it is not distilled like a true grappa. Below are two of our favorite recipes for hot holiday drinks using our Two Grandpa's. Try them for a unique holiday treat!
Two Grandpa’s Wassail
Ingredients
2 cups Two Grandpa’s
2 cups Diane’s Desire
2 cups Apple Cider
One orange slice
One cinnamon stick
Four Cloves
Mix all wine and juice together, squeeze in juice from the orange slice.
Pour mixture into Crock Pot add cinnamon stick and cloves. Heat for one hour on low or until warm and serve in mugs.
Makes 6-8 servings (depending on the mug size!)
Two Grandpa’s Party Punch
Ingredients
4 cups Cranberry Juice
2 cups Orange Juice
2 cups Two Grandpa’s
Mix juices and grappa in a pitcher chill until cold (or just add ice if you’re the impatient type). Serve in large bowl stemware glass with an orange slice on the lip of the glass to garnish. Enjoy!
Makes 6-8 servings.
