Events we can host
Parties- The vineyard changes with the seasons but the views are always beautiful at the Vineyard, think about hosting your party or a social event. Indoors we can accomodate 55 people for a seated dinner,buffet or table service. We do have catering available for your event. Outdoors we can host larger groups on our porches and deck areas and our new pavilion can set 300 guests with additional space on the pavilion patio area. We've hosted Corporate Events, Retirement Parties, Reunions,Bridal or Baby Showers and Birthdays. We also have a drama group that can stage Murder Mystery Dinners for private parties that are a blast. A minimum of 40 people are needed for a Mystery Dinner. Weddings and Receptions- Plan your special day at the vineyard. We have two gazebos on our lake for both small and large wedding ceremonies. Our new pavilion will seat up to 300 guests with beautiful views of the lake and vineyards for a setting unlike anything in Central Illinois. We've also added a bridal changing room for the bride and her attendants to have a private space to dress and socialize. Our Event Coordinator can send our pricing and information to you and schedule a meeting to visit the grounds and see firsthand what the vineyard has to offer. Tour and Tastings- Learn about wine making and tasting at a real working vineyard near your home. The cost is $5 per person, you must call two weeks in advance to reserve a time. There is a minimum of 10 per tour group or a minimum fee of $50. Saturdays June through September there are no tours scheduled after 2pm.
Bus or Tour groups - are welcome for a special stop to stretch your legs and visit one of Illinois's prettiest Vineyards, sample our wines and relax or make it an educational visit and schedule a formal tasting and tour.
Meetings- Business or charity groups sometimes enjoy an offsite meeting spot to clear out cobwebs and refresh the spirit, what better setting then a vineyard with a beautiful view and indoor and outdoor meeting space. Call in advance for availability and scheduling. Personal or Corporate Gifts- Give your staff a gift of handcrafted Illinois Wine from your local Mackinaw Valley Vineyard we have case discounts and will deliver orders over 2 cases within a 20 mile radius of Makinaw for a small fee.
Give the Gift of Wine anytime!- Shop for 12 friends at the same time! Get a mixed case of various wines for gift giving and receive a 10% off case discount. Add a pair of our Logo glasses for an elegant gift. We have gift bottle bags and other accessories.
Gifts and Wine Baskets- We have merchandise and gift bags for Wine and accessory giving. We have some one of a kind hand made wood stoppers, wine holders and cutting boards by Whitlach's Woodworking. There are some fun pewter stoppers in stock shaped like cats, motorcycles, male and female golfers. Gift baskets are always a nice option and you can start with the basics and fill with the wine accessories you like. We have single wine bag packs as well as two and four person picnic wine backpacks filled with all the supplies. Metal wine bottle and glass holders to stake by your lawn chair. Come and shop our selection.
Please visit our tasting room (see hours below) tasting is free and you are welcome to bring a picnic and sit outside and enjoy some wine out on the patio or in our tasting room that has a 30 mile view of the valley. For non-wine drinkers we sell beer, soda and water. Sorry we don't allow outside beverages or dogs, cats or other pets. thank you

February: Open Friday, Satrurday and Sunday 12-5pm. Trivia at 7pm on 2/6, 2/13, 2/20, 2/27. Open some Saturday evenings for trivia nights see event listings.
March & April -Open Friday, Satrurday and Sunday 12-5pm. Trivia at 7pm on 3/6, 3/13, 3/20, 4/17 & 4/24. Open some Saturday evenings for trivia nights see event listings.

HOLIDAY SPECIAL HOURS- DECEMBER 2009 WE WILL BE OPEN 12-5PM SUNDAY 12-20, MONDAY 12-21, TUESDAY 12-22 & WEDNESDAY 12-23 THE WEEK OF CHRISTMAS JANUARY 2010 WE WILL BE OPEN 12-5PM, MONDAY 12-28, TUESDAY 12-29, WEDNESDAY 12-30 AND THURSDAY 12-31, THEN BEGINNING ON NEW YEARS DAY WILL BE CLOSED IN JANUARY EXCEPT FOR PRIVATE EVENTS.

Closed: on Thanksgiving and closed for season from December 24th 2009 Christmas Eve until February 4th 2010. We are open again on February 5th 2010.
