Our Winery: Mackinaw Valley Vineyard

Choose from a selection of reds and whites to savor by the glass or bottle and complete your wine experience with a selection of cheese and crackers. The wine selection is always changing so be sure to visit and taste what's new. There is something for everyone's taste.

Our wine tasting is complimentary. We only serve packaged cheese & crackers. Feel free to bring your own picnic basket of food. Groups of 12 or more, please contact us for wine tasting and/or tours.

Red Wines

Dry Reds		COLE’S CLASSIC($22): (Named after winemaker’s son) A dry red with a pleasant full dark blackberry nose and flavors, dry and full with a light smoky touch on the finish. MACKINAW RESERVE($22): This dry blend of Baco Noir and Marchel Foch grapes has earthy tones with a hint of tart plum with a crisp finish. It has a tangy palate that pairs well with red meats and pasta dishes. CODY’S ROUND-UP RED($22): (named after the winemaker’s son) This new release in the spring of 2010 has raspberry and currant on the nose with a wisp of smoke. This wine has moderate acidity with a tangy dark berry finish.
		Sweet Reds ALEXANDER’S CONQUEST($22) : (Named after winemaker’s oldest son) This wine is a sweet blend of Marchel Foch Frontenac and Cabernet. It’s low in tannins and medium acidity. A spicy onset with a hint of cloves, black currant and a soft long finish.
		SWEET RED ERIC’S RED($22)::(Named after winemaker’s youngest son) This slightly sweet red blend has a touch of raspberry and blackberry flavors, especially on the finish.

Dry White Wines
		ST PEPIN($10): This grape was developed in Minnesota for cold hardiness. It’s on the dry side with straw "on the nose” tones and crisp apricot flavors and a nice strong grape finish.

		PRISCILLA’S PASSION($15): (named for the winemaker’s mother) this is a off dry medium bodied wine from the LaCrosse grape,

		SEYVAL (blue bottle)($15): This off-dry, lightly acidic white wine has citrus characters with a refreshing apple and pear finish. Serve cold with roast, poultry or fish.TEMPORARILY OUT OF DRY SEYVAL ONLY UNTIL EARLY 2012.
		EDELWEISS($12): this grape has strong floral aromas and a very grapey flavor similar to a white concord. VIGNOLES(blue bottle) ($15): A medium bodied dry white wine that displays a complex mix of tastes and aromas. Notes of fresh apples and a citrus tart flavor lingering on the finish. Serve cold for a refreshing drink

Dessert Wines		SUNSET RESERVE: the port style fortified wine is rich and sweet with a warm finish that fills the throat with black raspberry flavors (375ml) $25 TWO GRANDPA’S: (Grappa Style Wine) This grappa style wine is made by fermenting the leftover grape skins and seeds. This wine has lush aromas and a rich sweet taste and hint of peppermint spice, meant to savor like a sherry or aperitif. (750ml) $15


	Blush Wines
		Fruity DIANE’S DESIRE($15): This sangria style wine (named after the winemaker’s wife) is a blend of Niagara and Baco Noir with fruity undertones served best chilled with your favorite spicy dish or mixed with fresh fruit. Semi-Sweet NICOLE’S BLUSH($12): (Named after the winemaker’s daughter) Our version of a white zinfandel is a blend of Seyval grapes and red wine blend with added sweetness. This blush wine is a perfect compliment to cheese and crackers or with appetizers and light meals. Sweet CARLY’S CREATION($12): A concord wine (named after the winemaker’s daughter) best served chilled enjoy with a light meal or dessert. Sweet White Wines

		JASMINE’S MOONLIGHT($15): This Niagara blend is a refreshing sweet wine and is named after the oldest family cat. Great for dessert or just sipping
		SEYVAL($12): This sweeter version of our popular dryer white wine has the same citrus characters with a refreshing apple and pear finish. Serve cold with roast pork, poultry or fish
		CAYUGA WHITE($10): One of the most productive grapes produces a wine with peach tones. Excellent to pair with a light meal, fruit, dessert, as well as on its own. Pour over fruit compote and freeze for a refreshing summer "slushy” anytime

Semi Sweet White Wines

		RIESLING($15): a crisp white wine with hints of peach, grapefruit & citrus tones. A light wine for summer dining or desserts. VIGNOLES($15): A medium bodied, white wine that displays a complex mix of tastes and aromas. Notes of fresh apples and a citrus tart flavor lingering on the finish. Serve cold for a refreshing drink
