Live Music-Hoosier Daddy

Date: September 4, 2021
Location: Mackinaw Valley Vineyard

CONCERT HELD RAIN OR SHINE!

Members of three established Peoria-based bands have come together as the band Hoosier Daddy.

Former French Connection guitarist Dave Diefendorf’s desire to form a trio materialized quickly during a conversation with good friend Cindy Youngren, formerly of Southside Cindy & the Sliptones.  Larry Wigand, former Dave Chastain drummer, stepped in as the third member of the group when their original drummer left.  The whimsical name is attributed to Dave’s daughter living in neighboring Indiana, making him a “Hoosier Daddy”!

Youngren, Diefendorf and Wigand bring together their years of experience as musicians on the Peoria music scene to forge a new vibe for their original music and rock covers alike.   The band recently filmed two concert episodes of “State & Water” at the WTVP Studio featuring music from their albums, “The Neighbors called the Cops” released in 2020, and “Got a Mountain to Climb” released in 2018 and other original tunes. We are glad to welcome them for the first time to the vineyard this year for our Labor Day weekend fun!  https://hoosierdaddy.org/
