International Music, Wine and Craft Beer Festival-Saturday and Sunday, The last weekend in May

This year the International Music, Wine and Beer festival will feature 50+ wines and 60+ craft beers for tasting and purchase from around the world.  A new addition to the festival will be a higher end wine tasting table featuring wines $35-$80  or more per bottle retail.   The Mackinaw Lions Club will be providing food concessions with the proceeds going for their charity. Artisan cheese sampling and sales will be hosted by Ropp Jersey Cheese  in the pavilion. Confectionery chocolates by The Chocolatier are for sale in the tasting room. Saturday and Sunday there will be music performed throughout the day.

Admission for those age 21 and over is $15 per person and the price includes a souvenir wine glass and five tasting tickets, with additional tickets available for $1 each. Kids under 12 are free and ages 13-20 are $5 per person.

Mackinaw Valley Vineyard Art & Wine Festival – Third Sunday in July , Noon to 6pm, free admission

The Annual Mackinaw Valley Vineyard Art & Wine Festival will be held the third Sunday in July, from 12-6pm at Mackinaw Valley Vineyard and Winery. The artist’s booths will be in the new pavilion and the festival will be held rain or shine. Local artisans will have the opportunity to showcase their talents and sell their artwork. The artists invited specialize in ceramics, glass, wood, metal work, jewelry, oil painting and fiber. The local Car Clubs will once again be invited to share their cars with Festival goers. Wine tasting will be featured in the Pavilion as well as the tasting room. Our outdoor deck bar will have domestic and specialty beers available too.  Live entertainment by Greg Williams throughout the day.  Food truck to be announced.Admission is free, so please come out and support the Arts Community.

Grape Stomp and Harvest Festival-The Sunday of Labor Day weekend, Noon to 6pm, $5pp, 12 and under free

“Get in Touch with your Inner Lucy” at the Annual Grape Stomp and Harvest Festival. The grape stomp is for those who have the desire to emulate Lucy and get their “feet” wet in the wine. Two large vats are setup and competitions purely for fun run throughout the day, for the young and the young at heart too. Bring your cameras to preserve the moment and have proof of your endeavors in “wine making”. A popular part of the day is the harvest demonstration showing the equipment used in grape processing and winemaking. There will be wine tasting all day, concession food vendors to be announced. Live music from The Mystery Machine performing throughout the day as MC’s and “stompin rock” for everyone to enjoy. “Yes” is the answer for anyone who wants to come in costume dressed as a LUCY look-a- like all are welcome to dress up and have fun, no charge to enter Lucy contest. The Lucy Look-a-Like contest will be held at 3:30pm the first prize is $50. Admission is $5pp entry, kids 12 and under free. Prizes for all stomping participants throughout the day.
